Eyeliner Appointment Prep

Day of Your Appointment:

  • Make sure you eat something, have consumed no caffeine, and are well rested! Do not exercise the day of your appointment.

  • If it is something you typically use, you are welcome to come to your appointment with your eye makeup as you typically wear it. This will help us get an idea of what you are used to having your eyeliner look like. Also, feel free to bring any photos of eyeliner you love for reference. Instagram is a great place to find inspiration!

24 Hours Prior to Your Appointment

  • Avoid caffeine and anything else that can thin the blood and/or raise blood pressure. This includes: coffee, caffeinated tea, energy drinks, alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, and vitamin E. Tylenol is OK. This is very important. Not only because it makes it easier for us to work in your skin, but more importantly, is imperative for your best healed results. Excess bleeding = ashier results as well as poorer pigment retention.

* All of these 24 hour prior guidelines also apply to the day of your appointment.

There are a few extra things to be aware of prior to your eyeliner appointment:

  • If you use lash growth serum you will need to suspend its use for 30 days prior to your appointment. Failure to do so will increase sensitivity greatly and cause bleeding.

  • If you wear lash extensions you will need to remove them two weeks prior to your appointment.

  • If you wear contact lenses you will need to remove them for your appointment. We recommend you wear your glasses for at least 24 hours.

Please be mindful of following pre-appointment protocols for the best possible results.
